S is for Safety
Dear Families,
Fall Fun Fest: Thank you to all the families who were able to come out to the FFF to support our awesome school! Please share your pictures on our class photo site. Please email me if you need to be reminded of the password.
Lemos Farm: We are still missing a few signed permission slips and cash for the wristbands. To give families a little extra time, I decided to wait until this Friday to pick up the wristbands. The cost is $15 per child and $5 per adult.
Siblings are allowed on this field trip only if paid for with teacher in advance, but if you are driving your own children, you may not drive other students. (Drivers will supervise the children in their carpool.) Not all parents are available to drive, so we always appreciate you driving other students. Thank you!
Conferences: It's time to sign up for a parent teacher conference if you haven't done so already. Conferences are October 16-19. Kindergarten conferences are only 15 minutes so please be sure to be on time or email/call if you cannot make it. CLICK HERE to sign up for a Parent Teacher CONFERENCE.
Halloween: Tuesday, 10/31, Students should come to school in their costumes. There will be a kindergarten parade in the courtyard from 8:35ish-8:50ish am. Parents should drop their children off in the classroom at the normal start time, 8:20am and find a place to stand and take pictures in the courtyard. Please let us know if your child will not be participating. No real/pretend weapons allowed. From 9-10am we have fun Halloween/Fall crafts planned. Students will have the opportunity to do fun crafts in the other classrooms in our wing as well. We desperately need at least 5 parent/grandparent volunteers to help at the craft tables in our classroom. The crafts will be set up and ready to go. Please sign up in the classroom or email me if you can help. There is also a sign up for Halloween Treats.
