Dear Families,

We are waiting for a few families to complete the items below. Thank you for your help.

1. Please return your signed permission slip and Cash Only Donation for Lemos Farm Field Trip by Wednesday. I have to drive down there and get our writstbands this week. $15 per child and $5 per adult. Siblings are allowed on this field trip only if paid for with teacher in advance, but if you are driving your own children, you may not drive other students. (Drivers will supervise the children in their carpool.) Not all parents are available to drive, so we always appreciate you driving other students. Thank you!

THIS WEEK IN A2

• 10/2 National Bullying Prevention Blue Shirt Day. Please wear a blue shirt to create a stronger awareness of, and to get students involved in, bullying prevention. We will be taking a class picture to show our support.

• Star Student: Charlotte, Bring Poster on Monday

• Theme: All About Pumpkins

• Sight Word of the Week: AND (please also practice reading, writing, spelling, the following words: a, I, see, my, the, can), Fun Challenge: Practice writing words at home on a whiteboard, take practice spelling tests, write words outside with sidewalk chalk, write words in shaving cream on a cookie sheet, make up silly spelling songs s/a "I can spell 'and', I can spell 'and', A-N-D, A-N-D."
