About the 1st Day

 

Please bring the following:

• a LARGE (non-mini) backpack labeled w/ your child’s name 

• Sweater/Jacket and a change of clothes (including underwear) in a large ziplock bag w/ name to keep at school in your child’s cubby in case of accident. (This is super important!)

• Completed Volunteer Questionnaire and All About Me Banner

• a current picture of your child & a photo of your family

• Copy of Driver Form, Copy of License, Copy of Insurance w/ liability limits (for class field trip binder)  If you won’t be driving on field trips this year, please indicate that on driver form.  Thanks!

 

8:20am-8:30am Come in w/ your child, help him/her move attendance magnet, put backpack in cubby (please don’t do it for them), and read books provided at the table with your child.  

 

8:30am Teacher will ring chimes.  Say a quick goodbye to your child and meet Ms. Lobao and the PTO for a welcome breakfast in the Library.  Your child is in good hands, we promise.  Remember, your child takes their cues from you.  Please show them that you are confident they will have a wonderful day.  If your child has separation issues, it is best you let us know and say a quick goodbye.  We will help them transition in a loving, understanding, positive way.

12:00pm Please be wait in the kindergarten yard.  Your child will be dismissed to you. Please be on time so your child doesn't worry.
