Meet The Teachers

We are looking forward to a fantastic kindergarten year filled with learning and lots of fun!  We are thrilled to be working together and make this an amazing year for our students!  Mrs. Glasgo will be teaching on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and Mrs. Vazquez will be teaching on Fridays.   We feel lucky to balance our time between two things we love: teaching and raising our families. We look forward to meeting all of our new students and getting to know their families.

Hi, I'm Mrs. Glasgo!

I love teaching kindergarten, spending time with my family, running, hiking, camping, yoga, gardening, cooking, baking, and Giants' games. I have two kids, Ryan (Kindergarten) & Emilie (Pre-K).  I feel very fortunate to teach at such a fantastic school in the town where I grew up. I attended The Alternative School (now Ocean Shore) from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. From there I attended Saint Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco and went on to receive a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy at U.C. Davis. I then worked for a year at Star Academy in Marin, a fantastic school for children with multiple and complex learning differences. While going to school for my teaching credential & Master's degree at USF, I worked as a student teacher and long-term sub in Millbrae and Pacifica. I began teaching Kindergarten at Vallemar in 2006. I'm excited to be teaching with my good friend, Brandy Vazquez, again this year.

Hi, I'm Mrs. Vazquez!

I love teaching, reading children's literature, running with friends, playing games with my kids, cooking yummy food, and eating sushi with my family. I grew up in Southern California, about a mile from Disneyland. I attended UC Santa Barbara for my undergraduate degree and teaching credential/master's program. My husband and I met at UCSB and then moved north after we finished school. I have been teaching at Vallemar ever since. I'm a proud parent of a high school Freshman and a Vallemar 7th grader. I'm also excited to be Vallemar PTO Co-President again this year.
