Literacy Centers
What are Literacy Centers?
Literacy Centers are made up of three different components:
1. Mini-Lesson- short, focused lesson (about 10 min)
2. Application- Children move to various centers where they can practice and apply what they have learned.
3. Closure (Share-Time)- Good student practices are highlighted and students are reminded of what they have been learning.

Why are Literacy Centers Important?
